What the double won't do.

We refuse some prompts. We delete some clones. We cooperate with law enforcement on a narrow set of severe cases. This page is what triggers that.

The spirit

Double You exists so people can amplify themselves — not impersonate others or hurt anyone. Everything below follows from that.

Never

You may never use Double You to:

  • Clone anyone other than yourself without their explicit, verified consent
  • Create non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), of anyone
  • Create content depicting minors in any context
  • Impersonate public figures, politicians, executives, or celebrities
  • Defraud, scam, phish, or commit financial crimes
  • Harass, threaten, or doxx anyone
  • Spread medical, electoral, or safety misinformation
  • Bypass platform identity rules where they apply

How we enforce it

Three layers:

  1. Pre-generation — prompt and reference photo screening. Public figure detection. Minor detection. Refusal at generation.
  2. Post-generation — C2PA signing + watermarking. Every output traceable to an account.
  3. Reactivemisuse reports get human review within 4 business hours.

You may clone someone else only if (a) they have a verified Double You account, (b) they explicitly grant you a "cloning license" for that purpose, and (c) that license is in force. Licenses are revocable any moment. If revoked, all derived content is removed within 24 hours.

Consequences

Violations result in immediate suspension, deletion of offending content, deletion of the underlying clone if appropriate, and — for severe cases (NCII, CSAM, threats) — referral to law enforcement and NCMEC. We do not warn first for severe categories.

Appeals

If you think we got it wrong, email appeals@getdoubleyou.com. We review within 5 business days. Decisions are reversible if evidence supports it.
